OK to be fair this shop is never going to be my "go to"I am not sporty at all and so the chance I would need anything they sell is remoteI went with a mate in case you wonderedBut if you are sporty and like a bargain well the place for you I guessThis branch is on Costessey Retail Park and shop shares large free car park with the other retailers Very close to A47 southern bypass I am trying to be fair but struggling as I can't stand the owner of this enterprise so wouldn't give it 5 stars if it was the best shop ever (which it isn't! !)
Sports Direct should pay its staff a fair wage. I hope that they will dispense with zero hours contracts!
Tried to refuse a refund for faulty goods, claiming it was store policy not to offer cash refunds. Politely reminded the young gentleman that this is a matter of law rather than store policy and, again, had store policy quoted at me.I almost had to show the young shop assistant and the manager the relevant sections of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 before they eventually agreed that law trumps store policy, and offered the refund.People with a lesser knowledge of the legislation would happily accept policy as gospel, and never get their money back.As others have said, Sports Direct are very happy to take your money for their substandard goods, but not to offer a refund when their shoes all but cripple you.
Totally pathetic staff and service. Having purchased an expensive Addidas top for me son, after 15 minutes playing football on grass, all the fibres had pulled apart. Was told by branch manager Paul, that's the nature of the material and he refused to do anything about it. Apart from blaming my son for causing it!!!!! Total idiots...
Convenient location in Longwater Retail Park. Great selection of sportswear for ladies, men and children, however the store always looks untidy somehow. The staff seem friendly and approachable.
